The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. For my stance on worldliness, see 3 posts here.

Someone introduced me to this chart within a few weeks of my conversion at Aber. (It was a man's life in the CU in those days !)

I remember pondering how I would know as a recent convert whether my faith was real or temporary. I decided I would know by persevering.

Thank God we're still here, eh Gary ?

You clearly belonged to an excellent CU! Were you also recommended John Murray's Redemption Accomplished and Applied?
